Holiday Harbor Marina and Sunset Grille are open for business during these challenging times, and ready to help you make the most of your stay in the area.
Holiday Harbor Marina is providing all services and is open according to our normal schedule. Sunset Grille is open for take-out only. It offers food and alcoholic beverages for take-away by car or by boat. More complete information on operations of both the Marina and Grille is provided in this newsletter.
MINOR TEMPORARY CHANGE IN OPERATIONS
To address the current need for social separation, the marina is making some minor changes to its operations.
First, know that we are still providing all services and still open according to our normal schedule, just changing how some of our services are provided.
To assure physical separation as much as possible, we have closed our stores and office to visitors. Early on, we found people were congregating in those small spaces. Instead, we will provide curbside and dockside delivery for you. If we are launching your boat and want items from the store (ice, drinks, sunscreen, etc.), let us know and we will put it on-board for you. If you simply want something from the store, call or come to the door and we will bring the items to you. For any questions, please call the Marina at 850-492-0555.

HOLIDAY HARBOR MARINA (HHM) ANNUAL RED SNAPPER TOURNAMENT
Provided governmental restrictions do not require otherwise, the second annual HHM “Show Us Your Sow” Red Snapper Tournament will be held June 11 through July 25, 2020, the recently announced red snapper season for Florida Gulf and Federal water. This tournament is limited to only those who are account customers of Holiday Harbor Marina. The 2019 tournament proved to be a great success with 67 customers entered.
Registration will begin as soon as we are fairly certain there will be no impediments to having the tournament. Registration will be $50 per boat, which includes a tournament t-shirt and other gimme items. The top three single red snappers weighing the most caught during the period will split all registration fees 50%, 30% and 20% (with a minimum payout of $1,000), and receive other substantial prizes provided by the marina. In addition, winners of the Wildcard Weight and SSG Reservation for Two categories will receive Sunset Grille gift certificates and other prizes.
As it becomes available, new information concerning the tournament will be posted on our website banner and provided in the May Newsletter. Make plans now to participate and get a shot at some great prizes.
As published in our January, 2020 Newsletter, effective May 1st for customers who were on contracts before February 1, wet slips, dry storage and outside rack rates will increase 50 cents a foot, on annual, quarterly and month to month leases. This change in rates applied to new storage customers beginning February 1. Prepaid customers with an annual contract will not be affected until their contract renews. Even though all operating costs have been increasing and our waiting list is 50+, we have not implemented a rate increase since May 2018. Our new rates are very competitive with other dry storage facilities in the area. We value your business and did not implement this increase without careful consideration. BOATING SAFETY CHECKS CANCELLED
Holiday Harbor Marina’s annual Vessel Safety Inspection for its customers, regularly conducted in May by the Coast Guard Auxiliary, has been cancelled. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is not able to provide the personnel to conduct the inspections. We will let you know when we are able to again offer the inspections.
SUNSET GRILLE -- IS OPEN FOR TAKE-OUT!
To comply with new regulations, we offer:
- Walk-in ordering and delivery at the bar
- Call-in ordering with curb-side pick-up
- Dock-side ordering and pick-up: you can eat on your boat at our dock or elsewhere
- Alcoholic beverages, including Bushwhackers, in closed containers with any take-out food order.
- During this time, the hours are from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, 7 days a week
