 NORTH STORE AND FUEL DOCK

The North Store and Fuel Dock (located next to Sunset Grille) has reopen for the season.   At that location you can get marine gas and diesel fuel, as well as ice, convenience items, marine supplies, apparel and souvenirs.

SAFETY CHECKS FOR WET SLIP AND DRY STORAGE CUSTOMERS ONLY

Holiday Harbor Marina will hold its third annual free Vessel Safety Inspection conducted by the Coast Guard Auxiliary for existing marina wet slip and dry storage customers (only) on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  The inspections will start at 9:00 a.m.

This is a great opportunity to have your vessel and safety equipment inspected prior to prime boating season.  If your vessel passes inspection you will receive a sticker for your boat showing that you have been inspected.

If interested, you must schedule your inspection(s) through the marina.  Please contact the marina office (850)-492-0555 to schedule your timeslot(s).

TERMITES ON BOARD

We have been alerted to cases of termites infesting boats in our region.  Termites can infest both wooden and fiberglass boats, especially those that stay in the water, and can do major damage.  Therefore, we encourage you to check your boat for termites.

There are a couple of signs that you might have termites on-board.  The first is to look for very small wood-like pellets or shaving.  These wood-like particles (technically called “frass”) are what termites leave behind as they eat wood.  If you see such a small pile of frass, you will see small holes nearby where the termites have escavated the wood.

The second sign of termites is a bunch of wings.  Termites use their wings to “swarm” (move around).  Once they settle-in where they will build a colony, they drop their wings.  If you see a bunch of bug wings in your boat, it’s likely that there is a colony on-board.

If you suspect termites have invaded your boat, you will want to take action to get them disembarked.  You can contact the office at Holiday Harbor Marina (850-492-0555) for more information.

PATIO AREA REDONE

The patio area adjacent to the South fuel dock has been completely redone.  There is a new deck and gazebo with tables available for customer use.  And, there is a fish cleaning table with running water.  It’s a nice place to sit and relax before or after a boating outing.

SUNSET GRILLE

Sunset Grille at Holiday Harbor Marina overlooks the intracostal waterway and is accessible by car or by boat. Enjoy the view outside on our dock-side deck, which is heated on chilly days, or air conditioned seating is available inside. Our restaurant has a relaxed, family atmosphere with great prices and fresh daily seafood.

For the children we have a large, enclosed playground with boats and jet skies they can "drive", as well as a climb and slide for small children.  Or, they can just play in the white sand with sand toys.

And, we are dog friendly!
